Valeriu Gheorghita: Romanians do not report Adverse Reactions to Vaccines

Valeriu Gheorghita Romanii Reports Adverse Vaccine Reactions

Valeriu Gheorghita, the CNCAV coordinator, announced that Romanians do not report adverse reactions to vaccines, stating that there is an underreporting of what people feel after being immunized with a certain type of vaccine, which of course is a very serious problem .

Valeriu Gheorghita states that although there are some Romanians who report the problems they have, most do not, but if they did, it would certainly help to improve the knowledge that the authorities have about the serums they are using now.

"I can tell you that in the platform of the National Medicines Agency, looking at adverse reactions, more than two thirds of them are reported by beneficiaries, that is, by patients. Very few, i.e. up to a third, are reports by health professionals

I am convinced that we are currently underreporting adverse reactions and that we do not know the true frequency of adverse reactions for all three types of vaccines, but I note that we are generally talking about mild ones. Of the common ones, at the site of administration, or those that can be accompanied by fever but which have a good evolution. said Valeriu Gheorghita at DIGI 24."
