iOS 14.5 Will Recalibrate iPhone 11/Pro/Max Phone Batteries

iOS 14.5 Recalibrate iPhone 11 Phone Batteries

iOS 14.5 is in the beta testing process to be released by Apple for iPhones worldwide, and according to the latest information discovered in it, it seems that it will recalibrate the battery to improve its performance.

According a support document published by the Apple company yesterday, iOS 14.5 is going to recalibrate the batteries of the iPhone phones so that the performance of the phones and the maximum capacity of the battery are improved, the process will last several weeks.

“iOS 14.5, which will be available later this spring, includes an update where the battery health reporting system will recalibrate the maximum battery capacity and peak performance capacity on iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max to fix inaccurate battery health reporting estimates for some users. Symptoms of this bug include unexpected battery drain behavior or, in a small number of cases, reduced peak performance capability. This inaccurate battery health reporting does not reflect a problem with the actual battery health.

During the recalibration of the battery health reporting system, you will see a message in Settings > Battery > Battery health. Recalibration of maximum capacity and peak performance capacity occurs during regular charge cycles, and this process may take several weeks. The displayed percentage of maximum capacity will not change during recalibration. The peak performance capability may be upgraded, but this may go unnoticed by most users. If a low battery message was previously displayed, this message will be removed after updating to iOS 14.5.”
