In Romania, the wearing of masks on the street is going to be reimposed, a measure that was eliminated many months ago, but because the incidence rates are increasing again, at least near schools, the wearing of masks on the street would be reimposed if the incidence rate in locality exceeds 1/1000 inhabitants.
In Bucharest, this decision was already confirmed by the prefect of the capital, and it will be voted on next week, but in all localities with incidence rates of over 1/1000 inhabitants, similar measures could be taken by the Romanian authorities.
Considering that the incidence rates will increase throughout the country due to the expansion of the 4th wave generated by the Delta variant of the Coronavirus, it is expected to reach incidence rates that would impose the obligation to wear a mask on the street anywhere in Romania.
