A new very large number of new cases of the Coronavirus was officially confirmed by the authorities in Romania today, today's figures being slightly higher than last week's, 11.725 new cases compared to 11.546, which comes as excellent news because it goes without saying that we have reached that plateau level that we were expecting and we could enter a decline.
The situation in hospitals still remains extremely serious, with many infected people hospitalized and waiting for beds available for intensive therapy, which unfortunately generates an increasing number of deaths recently.
The vaccination campaign still registers an "explosion" of immunizations during this period, and this is an extremely good thing, but the process needs to continue for a longer period of time so that the future waves are not so strong.
