After looking for many ways to monetize WhatsApp, Facebook has found a new way to generate profit from the messaging platform, and it all has to do with the businesses that are active there.
Facebook will allow businesses that are active within WhatsApp to create ads directly from the application, which will be displayed on the social network to attract new customers to their products. Facebook had announced more than a year ago that it was working on this system for WhatsApp, but few expected it to be launched following the controversies that focused on the companies that are now part of Meta.
Facebook allows the creation of ads within WhatsApp
WhatsApp will have a new special menu in its framework to facilitate the creation of advertisements to be displayed within Facebook, everything can be done very quickly by business owners directly from their phones. The move that Facebook is making with these ads is an interesting one, because it wants to extract money from businesses that have not been promoted through the social network until now, but use WhatsApp to get in touch with potential clients.
You can see from the image above what the interface looks like that will allow any person who has an active business within WhatsApp to create their ads that will be visible exclusively within Facebook. After the ads are made, they start running automatically in Facebook, and people are directed to the WhatsApp page of that company, being able to buy its products, or just interact with it and ask it various questions.
