DIGI RCS & RDS is one of the largest telecommunications groups in all of Romania at the moment, the Romanian company being at the center of an official announcement that surprised many Romanians. More precisely, those from ANCOM have published the official information regarding the number of Romanians who use telephone, internet, television services in Romania, and DIGI RCS & RDS is placed in a surprisingly good position for a company founded in our country.
DIGI RCS & RDS is the largest provider of fixed internet services in Romania, with a market share of 61%, i.e. a kind of monopoly, since Telekom (i.e. the division bought by Orange) has 17%, and Vodafone 12 % (former UPC). It is interesting that the rest of the fixed internet service providers in Romania don't even matter in the general context, those from DIGI RCS & RDS have managed to capture the fixed internet market for years, but they also offer customized services.

DIGI RCS & RDS also has a huge market share in terms of television services, standing at 63%, even higher than in the case of fixed internet services. Here it is logical that there is little competition from competitors, Orange now having a market share of 14%, and Vodafone an 11%, so DIGI RCS & RDS manages to dominate two extremely important markets for Romanian customers, and has been doing this for years.
DIGI RCS & RDS has a surprisingly large market share and when it comes to efixa phone services, with a 40% share, but here Orange has 37% and Vodafone 21%, so the differences are not colossal. On the mobile internet side, those from DIGI RCS & RDS have not been as successful, having only 20% of the market, but the quality of the services is also the weakest of all those offered by the group, so it is normal that they do not have no great success with them either.
