Raed Arafat stated that the number of Romanians vaccinated so far, i.e. 8 million, represents an important achievement in a country where the reluctance towards vaccination is at an extremely high level, unfortunately for us in full of the Coronavirus pandemic.
Raed Arafat was one of those who intensively promoted vaccination in Romania, but despite all the efforts made by the authorities, only about half of the total number of Romanians who can be vaccinated were actually vaccinated by the authorities.
"The fact that we managed to vaccinate more than eight million people is... for Romania, where, unfortunately, vaccines are not well seen... not only for COVID, but also for other diseases. I say something was done if 8 million were vaccinated. It is clearly insufficient."
