The Romanian government talks below about the important measures to stimulate the economy, all at a time when our country will emerge from the 5th wave with many restrictions that have affected several areas of the economy.
"Important measures to stimulate the economy and maintain jobs were taken today by the Government:
Almost 2.900 companies in the HORECA sector will receive a total of 570 million lei in funding, within the support scheme intended to support SMEs during the period determined by the COVID-19 crisis;
The program for stimulating the establishment of small and medium-sized enterprises "Start-up Nation - ROMANIA" and the Program for providing financial support to enterprises in the field of tourism whose activity was affected in the context of the pandemic will continue to be applied this year;
The Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Tourism will implement the Program to support the SME sector, in order to recover and relaunch the economy;
The government approved the initiation of legislative steps for a set of new government programs to ensure access to financing for SMEs: IMM PROD, Rural INVEST, Garant Construct, Innovation. The executive continues the measures to support the business environment in Romania, and, through the investments from the budget and from the European funds, the economy will benefit from the financial resources necessary for the development and creation of new jobs."
