Netflix: New PRICE INCREASE for Subscriptions in Europe

Netflix New PRICE INCREASE Subscriptions Europe

Netflix continues the series of subscription price hikes benefiting subscribers who currently use the platform to see thousands of movies, series, documentaries, or cartoons, something we told you would happen, unfortunately for all of us. More precisely, after the price hikes on the American continent, now those from Netflix have started raising prices including in Great Britain and Ireland, two countries with many subscribers who pay monthly for access to the platform.

Netflix has taken the decision that in Ireland it will apply a price increase of 1 euro for the cheapest subscriptions that customers can activate, this while the average option is more expensive by 2 euros from now on, and the premium one is by 3 euro more expensive. In Great Britain, subscription prices have increased by one pound and two pounds, respectively, quite a lot if we consider that the subscriptions themselves do not have high values anyway.

Netflix: New PRICE INCREASE for Subscriptions in Europe

Netflix is raising subscription prices to justify investments in movies, series, and the platform it offers to everyone, but these are some of the biggest so far, if not the biggest. An increase of 3 euros for a subscription is not something easy to overlook, and it represents almost 20% of the value that the subscription had before it was increased in price, and customers will definitely look very carefully at what is happening.

Netflix has for some time initiated a procedure of increasing prices all over the world, but it does everything segmented in order not to draw too much attention to itself, especially since we are not talking about very small increases for some of the subscriptions. The same thing also happened in the USA and Canada, where prices increased in the first month of the year, and as we move towards the middle of 2022, there will certainly be other increases.

Netflix has not yet announced when it intends to apply price increases, including in Romania, but we can expect them to appear at any time, especially since our country will not be overlooked by this price hike campaign.
