The Romanian government officially announced today that it is donating 11 ambulances to the emergency services of Ukraine to help them during this period of the war with Russia, many of the vehicles the country had being damaged by bombings or fighting.
"Prime Minister Nicolae-Ionel Ciucă: We continue to offer direct and rapid support to the Ukrainian state, heavily affected by Russian aggression.
11 ambulances, fully equipped and functional, left for Ukraine today, donated to evacuate the wounded and provide emergency medical aid.
Humanitarian mission number 29 was operationalized through the Suceava HUB, the first European logistic center for receiving humanitarian assistance.
Romania is with Ukraine and the Ukrainian people in suffering and will continue to offer support!"
