WhatsApp is preparing two new changes for iPhone and Android, and they are made in secret for people all over the world, and as you can see below, we are talking about news that should be in our attention. The first of these changes that WhatsApp is making at the moment has to do with the encryption system of the messages that are sent within the messaging platform between people.
WhatsApp will start to display a message at the bottom of the conversations section telling us that these conversations are completely encrypted, so that no one will be able to intercept what we are talking to other people. This is part of WhatsApp's strategy to inform its users about the fact that they benefit from total security when it comes to the communications that are made through the application.

WhatsApp is also working on a new functionality regarding opinion polls that can be published within conversation groups, and this is because they can be published, possibly, in several groups. Below you can see how such a group of conversations in WhatsApp looks like, it can be created and published in any group by us, but it is possible that we can also send it to others, if we want to.
WhatsApp will allow us to see the results of the votes given by people for these opinion polls, but not everyone will be able to see more than the standard graph, i.e. percentages, or the actual number of votes for each option. This way of displaying the information is not known if it is the final one that WhatsApp will apply for opinion polls, and this is because the functionality is still in full development process, so a lot can still change.
WhatsApp has been working on these major changes for some time, and it is expected that they will be officially available in the coming months, although no one knows exactly when this will happen.
