WhatsApp, the largest messaging platform in the world with over 2 billion active accounts that use it every day, is currently working on one of the biggest changes in its history. For some time, those at WhatsApp have allowed us to connect a platform account on several devices, but we are talking about desktops and browsers, not about the application installed in another iPhone or Android, apart from the one we use.
WhatsApp is working in secret to carry out this major change that many people are waiting for, and this is because in Android we are shown what will be called Companion Mode. This change will also reach Apple's iPhone phones, WhatsApp wanting to offer users the opportunity to log in another phone to the same platform account, separate from the one we use as the main one to communicate within it.

WhatsApp will give us the opportunity to quickly log in a second phone for the same account from the platform using this Companion Mode, and everything will be done directly from the application, but it's good to know something important. More precisely, the people at WhatsApp say that if we choose to do this, then if we are logged into the platform on the secondary phone, then we will be logged out, but all the data associated with the account will also be deleted, to make room for the new ones.
WhatsApp surprises in a very positive way with this major change it is making for its messaging platform in the end, and this is because this functionality was expected for a very long time. It took a long period of development for this system to finally be offered within WhatsApp, but even so, we still have a long time to wait until everything will be officially available, because the system is not yet 100% ready.
