The WHO sends an extremely worrying announcement to the whole world, all in the context of the fact that the Coronavirus pandemic is still in full swing, and the monkey pox is still scaring the world, but now we are told that the whole world is not prepared for the next big pandemic that will come at some point.
The WHO says that the very poor public health services amplify the power of the problems generated by various viral infections that occur all over the world, and in the case of monkey pox, it brings into discussion the fact that the spread of the infection is directly linked to the inability or lack of will of the authorities in the countries affected to reduce the risks of spread.
The WHO also draws attention to the fact that the testing rates for the Coronavirus have dropped a lot in various areas of the globe, and this prevents the rapid discovery of possible outbreaks, but also the appearance of new strains that could generate major long-term problems in several areas on the planet.
The WHO says that they are working on a set of regulations to be applied globally in the case of pandemics by all countries where such types of problems may occur, but of course the involvement of several governments is also needed because projects of this kind to be brought to an end, and the world to be protected.
