Those from DIGI RCS & RDS announced directly on their own website that they have again updated the maps with the coverage they offer in Romania for the 2G, 3G, 4G networks, a sign that they have made improvements to the infrastructure on which they provide telephone services furniture for customers.
DIGI RCS & RDS has invested hundreds of millions of euros to offer Romanian customers competitive telecommunications services, but at the lowest prices in the Romanian market, and this is how it managed to position itself as a leader in the porting market for so many years . Over the years, DIGI Mobil has managed to increase its coverage to approximately 98% of the territory of Romania, an impressive percentage, which is still higher than the coverage offered by Vodafone or Telekom, for example, in Romania. The company also created a 5G infrastructure in Romania, but investments in it were blocked in 2020, shortly after the start of the pandemic, and remain at the same stage even now.
It is assumed that DIGI RCS & RDS will further expand its 5G infrastructure in the coming years as the situation of 5G frequencies in Romania becomes clearer, but for now the investments have been blocked for 2 years. During all this time, the company has the lowest prices for telecommunications services in Romania, is the undisputed leader in the field of porters, and has had extremely great success in Spain.
DIGI RCS & RDS will most likely continue to expand its coverage on the telecommunications side in Romania, but it remains to be seen how much, how quickly, and when it will return to investing in 5G.
