Germany approved the sale of 100 howitzers to Ukraine for the amount of 1.7 billion dollars, and this in the conditions that the Ukrainian army has been waiting for a very long time for the other elements of military equipment promised to be offered for free, but in the end they will have to to buy howitzers.
Germany announced yesterday that it will offer an IRIS-T anti-aircraft defense system to Ukraine for free, this being one of the most advanced systems of its kind available at the moment, but the Ukrainians will also be able to buy howitzers, while they will receive free others from other NATO countries.
