The Romanian Army participates in the Amber Desire 22-2 Exercise Conducted with NATO Troops

The Romanian Army sent its "Transylvanian Cheetahs" to the Amber Desire22-2 exercise in Lithuania to participate with the soldiers from the USA, Poland and Great Britain in a series of exercises that took place in Alytus, in order to increase their interoperability with allied troops within NATO during this period.

Representatives of the Air Defense Detachment "Gheparzii Transilvania" participated with American and British partners from the Battle Group in Poland, as well as Polish representatives of the 15th Mechanized Infantry Brigade in the exercise "Amber Desire 22 - 2" which had place this week in Alytus, Lithuania.

On this occasion, the multinational training activity was attended by senior representatives of the Lithuanian army, the deputy commander of the NE Multinational Division in Elblag, the commander of the 15th Mechanized Infantry Brigade, as well as the command team of the Battle Group from Poland together with the commanders of the Romanian and British contingent .

Starting from April, for approximately 6 months, the Romanian contingent "Gheparzii Transilvania", a structure generated by the 3rd Air Defense Battalion "Potaissa" trains in a multinational environment alongside the allies of the Polish battle group, under the coordination of the Forces Command Gathered.
