The last-minute meteorological warnings that ANM, the National Meteorological Administration, decided to issue for Romania bring to mind a series of atmospheric phenomena that can cause serious problems from many points of view during the days of September 15 and 16 in the country Our.
ANM has issued two yellow and one orange codes for large areas of the whole country, warning us about heavy rains accompanied by hail and electrical discharges, plus intensification of the wind in the targeted regions, so it's good to be careful in case you move to the respective regions.
CODE YELLOW WEATHER WARNING!
Targeted phenomena: temporarily increased atmospheric instability.
Validity period: 15 September, 14:00 – 16 September, 21:00.
Affected areas: as per text and map.
In the mentioned interval, in the west, center and north-west of the country, as well as in the mountain areas, there will be periods of torrential downpours, electrical discharges, wind intensifications and isolated hail. In short periods of time or through accumulation, water quantities will exceed 25...30 l/m40 and isolated XNUMX l/mXNUMX.
Note: Periods with manifestations of atmospheric instability and heavy rains will be in the following days in most of the country, but mainly in the intra-Carpathian regions.

Locally in Banat, Crisana, western Transylvania and the north of the Eastern Carpathians there will be periods of torrential downpours, strong gales, frequent electrical discharges and hail in small areas. Targeted phenomena: wind intensifications.
Validity period September 15, 10:00 – September 15, 22:00.
Affected areas: as per text and map.
The wind will have sustained intensifications in the mountains, especially on the ridges, where the gusts will exceed 80...100 km/h and temporarily in the south and east of Transylvania with speeds in general of 55...65 km/h.
