Enel explains below what is included in the final price they pay in the bills they receive for electricity and natural gas services, and this is because it is based on the new legal regulations adopted by the Romanian Government and the Romanian Parliament in 2022.

You can see below that regardless of the price at which Enel Romania sells electricity and natural gas, in the end we will pay the full price capped by the authorities, but under the capping conditions they have imposed for Romania, so it is important to keep this in mind as well.

Enel Romania explains on its website how the prices for electricity and natural gas are capped depending on our monthly consumption, an extremely important element based on which we can get an idea of ​​how much we will pay in every month for the services we benefit from.

The final invoiced price is the price per kw/h that you will pay to the supplier, established by law (regardless of the price in your contract) for the period April 1, 2022 – August 31, 2023. It has the following price components included:

The final invoiced price for electricity includes the active energy price component (purchase component and supply component), excise duty, regulated transport and distribution tariffs, system services, green certificates, the contribution for high energy efficiency cogeneration and VAT.

The final invoiced price for natural gas includes the price component of natural gas (purchase component and supply component), transportation cost, storage tariff, distribution tariff and VAT.
