Defense Minister: Last-minute message regarding the Romanian Army, what many Romanians did not know

Minister of Defense Message LAST TIME The Romanian Army Many Romanians Didn't Know

The Minister of Defense speaks to Romanians from all over the country, in a new message published during this weekend, about one of the important components of the Romanian Army, specifically the Special Operations Forces, which the other day were praised by NATO for their achievements in the missions until now.

The Minister of Defense speaks below about this elite unit within the Romanian Army, but also about the fact that starting from 2003, its soldiers participate in missions together with NATO forces, even before our country became a member of the alliance, and more you have a lot of information below.

"Just a few days ago I was in Târgu Mureș, at the 51st Special Operations Battalion "Vulturii", and I had the opportunity then to see these soldiers in training. NATO has produced a video material in which it presents and appreciates, at the same time, the skills of our soldiers.

They were asked where their strength came from. "Our strength comes from the human quality and the strength of our team. Because we select individuals, but we create teams", is their answer. The soldiers of the Romanian Special Operations Forces deserve all our appreciation for the way they carry out their missions in a field full of challenges.

The Romanian Special Operations Forces (SOS) have been collaborating with NATO since 2003, even before Romania joined the Alliance in March 2004. Over the years, the elite unit of the Romanian forces has been deployed in NATO missions in Afghanistan and Kosovo, alongside allies and partner countries.

In the new security context, FOS teams in Romania are able to carry out a variety of high-risk missions, with the aim of promoting regional security and ensuring collective defense."
