Romanian Post has announced a very important measure that it has taken for Romanians throughout the country at the moment, one that you might want to know about if you want to use its services, and this is because it was announced in officially the fact that he delivers parcels with ATVs.
The Romanian Post bought four ATVs for its postmen and with their help deliver parcels and parcels in hard-to-reach areas in the mountains, the decision being an extremely good one that will be of great help to a large number of people from all over the country.
Four ATV vehicles were purchased by Poșta Română in order to more easily deliver the items in hard-to-reach mountain areas. Thus, starting today, postmen from Alba, Suceava, Bihor and Cluj counties will distribute parcels on ATVs.
ATVs will provide versatility to postmen, especially on off-road routes. In addition, they will reduce working time and simplify the routes that our employees have to travel to reach isolated addresses. The ATV vehicles owned by Poșta Română are LINHAI brand, PROMAX 570 model, have a transport capacity of two seats and a load capacity of 204 kg. The ATVs are also equipped with a towing hook, with a towing capacity of 200 kg.
"The Romanian Post delivers items to all corners of the country. Regardless of whether they are located in hard-to-reach areas, our postman must reach all households. Thus, we identified the postal subunits with itineraries inaccessible for other categories of means of transport and purchased these ATVs in order to reach our customers faster, but also to offer real help to the company's employees", said Valentin Ștefan, The Director General of the Romanian Post.
The four ATVs came with four sets of protective equipment for the driving postmen (helmet, gloves, knee pads and reflective vests) and cost 99.000 lei + VAT.
