Minister of Education: LAST TIME, Important Announcement for Many Students of Romanian Schools

Minister of Education LAST TIME Official Announcement Student School Priorities

The Minister of Education is at the center of an extremely important announcement aimed at the students of many schools in Romania at the moment, more precisely, we are talking about the fact that during this day there were discussions with the students regarding the necessary measures to ensure free transport.

The Minister of Education continues the policy of his predecessor in that he will support covering the payment of transportation for students as part of the new education laws, but also the process of finalizing them in order to be adopted as quickly as possible by the Romanian Parliament.

"Today, the Minister of Education, Ligia Deca, talked with the representatives of the students and assured them that the Ministry of Education will be a loyal partner involved in the dialogue. At the meeting, Robert Avram (president of the National Council of Students) and Ariana Dudună (president of the Students' Association from Constanța) were present.

The topics covered were: finding the necessary solutions to ensure the free transportation of students, the scholarship awarding system and the new package of education laws. In the next period, the proposals made by the students present at the discussion will be analyzed in the process of finalizing the new education laws. In order to keep a constant dialogue with students and to ensure that their voice counts, the Ministry of Education will regularly organize meetings with representative students from all over the country.

We want to understand, first of all, whether or not Mrs. Deca is captive to the groups and political interests that have seized education and whether she will turn a blind eye to them.

USR is worried that the PSD-PNL political coalition will choose the path of continuity of the Cîmpeanu bills, despite widespread public protests on several topics such as unfair admissions to high schools or amnesty by law for plagiarists. We continue to demand the withdrawal and rewriting of these projects."
