DSU Romania, the Department for Emergency Situations, has officially announced new important measures that target millions of Romanians at the moment, and this is because it was decided to continue the "Be Prepared" SMURD Caravan project with visits to other localities in the country.
Because we want the population to be informed and prepared in case of disasters or emergency situations, the SMURD "Be Prepared" Caravan and the Mobile Population Training Center for emergency response were also present in several cities in October from the country.
During the activities carried out, the participants acquired knowledge specific to the provision of emergency medical first aid and were able to participate in the simulation of the dangers that may arise in the event of a fire breaking out in a home.
Also, more attention was paid to the little ones, who learned theoretically and practically how to use the fire extinguisher and other specific means, what dangers can exist in the case of faulty household appliances and how they should behave when a fire breaks out.
The Mobile Population Training Center is designed to simulate complex emergency situations, such as house fires, as well as a package for extreme weather conditions or the realistic simulation of an earthquake.
The SMURD "Be Prepared" caravan is specially built to enable effective training and the organization of first aid courses in emergency situations.
