Minister of Education: LAST HOUR, 2 very Important Official Announcements for Students and Schools

Minister of Education LAST TIME 2 Important Official Announcements School Students

The Minister of Education sent two last-minute announcements that he wants to bring to the immediate attention of the millions of parents and students attending school courses throughout Romania, the first of which concerns the report published by the National Council of Students regarding the implementation of the student status in Romania .

The Minister of Education also made another extremely important announcement regarding a public consultation related to a project for PNRR created specifically to finance the furnishing of classrooms in Romania, as well as equipment for the laboratories of many educational units in Our country.

"I congratulate the National Council of Students (CNE) for the proven consistency in the elaboration of the National Report on the Implementation of the Student Status at the National level, which provides us with an x-ray of the pre-university education system regarding the knowledge and respect of the rights and duties of students, as they are provided in the Student Status.

Reading the report, two findings of the CNE particularly caught my attention. First of all, sanctioning absence by the teacher should not be a means of coercion or a means of ped eaps. The second issue refers to the difference in percentages between the students who answered the questionnaire and the teachers who responded regarding the quality of witnesses to the verbal aggression of the teaching staff on the students.

Only 12,5% of teachers say they have witnessed such undesirable events, but 40,5% of student respondents say they have encountered cases where teachers behaved inappropriately with students (humiliation in front of the class, inappropriate comments on clothing or students' interests, etc.). This discrepancy in perception tells us that we do not have the same understanding between students and teachers about what constitutes verbal violence.

And here I think we can do more to improve communication between teachers and students. On this occasion, I assured the students that their voice is important to us, and constructive feedback and student involvement contribute to the improvement of the educational process. I was glad to have them as partners in the realization of the "Educated Romania" Project, and I hope to work together as well now, in its implementation.

The PNRR call was launched in public consultation, which brings the largest supply of classroom furniture and laboratory equipment in the last two decades. We await your comments. The Ministry of Education, as the coordinator of reforms and investments financed by the National Reform and Resilience Plan (PNRR), launches for public consultation the Applicant's Guide related to the call Equipping pre-university education units with furniture, didactic materials and digital equipment, a call for projects that will be financed through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan - Component C15: Education." said Ligia Deca about the ongoing projects.
