The USA has announced a new military aid package for Ukraine, and we are talking about a decision that the Ukrainians have been waiting for a very long time, and this is because this time the Americans have decided to include Patriot air defense systems among the military equipment which he will provide.
The US has decided to send ammunition, weapons, or military equipment worth 1.85 billion dollars to Ukraine, an impressive amount, coming just a few weeks after a similar package worth several hundred million dollars was sent to the Ukrainian territory to face the attacks of the Russians.
"The USA announces a military aid of 1,85 billion dollars for Ukraine. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced $1,85 billion in military aid to Ukraine in a package that will include a battery of Patriot missiles and precision-guided bombs for fighter jets on December 21.
"The withdrawal of $1 billion will provide Ukraine with expanded air defense and precision strike capabilities, as well as additional munitions and critical equipment that Ukraine uses so effectively to defend itself on the battlefield," the statement said of Blinken's press release.
The US Department of Defense also announced an additional $850 million in security assistance to Ukraine under its Security Assistance Initiative.”
