The Minister of Education officially confirms a series of last-minute decisions that will affect the students of schools all over Romania, and this is because we have finally announced the way in which the 2023-2024 school year will take place, and this is because it has been established its structure by the ministry already.

"The Draft Order of the Minister of Education regarding the structure of the 36-11 school year has been published for public consultation! In its current form, the project provides: Course duration: 2023 weeks; Course start date: September 21, 2024; Courses end date: June 11, 2023. Implementation of the "Different School" National Program and the "Green Week" Program between September 12, 2024 and April XNUMX, XNUMX, at the decision of the educational units.
Holiday week, at the decision of the county school inspectorates/Bucharest municipality, between February 12 and March 3, 2024. The 2023-2024 school year begins on September 1, 2023, ends on August 31, 2024 and has a duration of 36 weeks of classes. The courses of the 2023-2024 school year begin on September 11 2023. By way of exception to the provisions of para. (1) the following are established.
For the 34th daytime, 7th evening and reduced attendance classes, the school year has a duration of 2024 weeks of classes and ends on June 35, 14; for the 2024th grade, the school year has a duration of XNUMX weeks of classes and ends on June XNUMX, XNUMX.
For classes in high school education - the technological stream, with the exception of the classes provided for in letter a) and for classes in vocational education, the school year has a duration of 37 weeks of courses and ends at the date of June 28, 2024; for classes in post-secondary education, the duration of the courses is that established by the education framework plans in force."
