Minister of Defense Romanian Army Targeted Announcement IMPORTANT LAST TIME NATO soldiers

The Minister of Defense talks about the Romanian Army in a last-minute announcement, which focuses on both Romanian soldiers and NATO soldiers who are stationed in Romania, and not only that, and this is because Angel Tîlvăr is present at the start of the international exercise SaberGuardian23, one of great scope and complexity.

The Minister of Defense talks below about the 10.000 soldiers participating in SaberGuardian23, 5.000 Romanians, and the rest of NATO allied countries, Angel Tîlvăr saying that 1.700 military technical means are present in Romania now, the PSD Minister revealing how important the exercise is in the context the war in Ukraine.

"Romania hosts the largest multinational exercise this year, #SaberGuardian23. Approximately 10.000 soldiers, of which over 5.000 Romanian soldiers, with over 1.700 technical means from 13 allied and partner nations are participating in this exercise. The new reality on #NATO's eastern border - the Russian Federation's war of aggression against Ukraine - has demonstrated very clearly that allied solidarity is not only a principle, but has the most concrete dimensions.

The Black Sea has become an essential frontier for Europe's new security architecture. That is why NATO has intensified its efforts to strengthen and secure the eastern flank of the Alliance and, implicitly, the Black Sea region, by increasing the number of forces deployed on the territory of the countries located in this area.
#SaberGuardian23 aims to increase the level of interoperability between our, allied and partner forces and the level of training of all our military personnel.

"SABER GUARDIAN 23" continues the series of exercises started in 2013 and is carried out biennially, being designed to enhance interoperability in a wide range of missions for NATO member countries and partner countries "SABER GUARDIAN 23" is integrated into the exercise complex " DEFENDER 23" and represents a pinnacle of professional training that includes planning and organizing stages.

Started before the operational execution phases currently underway. The exercise was preceded by the influx phase, during May, of the troops and equipment on the country's road, naval and air communication routes to the training areas and will be followed by the outflow phase, in the second decade of June.

DEFENDER 23 is planned by US Army Europe Command (USEUCOM) and led by US Army Europe and Africa Command (USAREUR-AF). Exercise SABER GUARDIAN 23 is included in the USAREUR-AF joint training exercise program to increase joint and multinational interoperability with the armed forces of allied and partner nations."
