Minister of Education: LAST MINUTE Problems and Measures for Students in All Romanian Schools

Minister of Education LAST MINUTE Problems Measures Students All Romanian Schools

The Minister of Education officially informs the students and teachers in all Romanian schools about a series of last-minute problems, Ligia Deca bringing to everyone's attention what is happening from the point of view of the end of the school year, and the calendar for enrollment at the national assessments.

The Minister of Education talks below about the meaning of the changes that are being prepared at the level of the Government of Romania for the extension of the periods of closing school situations, and of registering for national exams, they will come into force, if this does not end the situation in all Romanian schools.

"We continue to constantly centralize information regarding the situation of the participation of education personnel in the educational act. We still have a downward trend, both at the level of total education staff and at the level of teaching staff. Also, as you know, according to the current calendar, today June 9 is the end of the closing period for the school situation for the XNUMXth and XNUMXth grades.

Also on June 9, i.e. today, registrations for the Baccalaureate Exam and the National Assessment should have ended. Considering the current context, I signed the minister's order by which for the VIIIth, XIIth and XIIIth classes for evening and reduced attendance, the period for concluding the school situation is extended until June 13.

As for the other classes, no changes are required at this time in terms of the end of the school year activities. Regarding exam registration, registration for the Baccalaureate and National Assessment Exam for 13th grade graduates will also be extended until June XNUMX.

In this context, the skills tests for the Baccalaureate exam will be held between June 14-23. Regarding the written tests for both national exams, yes, the Baccalaureate and the National Assessment, there is no need to change the calendar at this time. And we don't even want to change the calendar, so that all students, all graduates, can follow the educational path that suits them where they want to go further.

Obviously, we too want things to go back to normal. We make every effort in this regard. I know that there was a discussion in the public space regarding the changes made by order of the minister to the regulation of organization and operation, in the sense that we made it easier from a bureaucratic point of view to close the school situation."
