The Romanian Army officially transmits 2 last-minute official announcements regarding NATO, the war in Ukraine, and the Romanian military, the first of which focuses on the fact that four German Eurofighter Typhoon planes have arrived in Romania to protect the airspace of our country against any threats.

The Romanian Army explains below at which air base these military planes will be stationed, separately bringing to our attention new multinational exercises in which soldiers from the country participated, but also a series of information regarding the parade for the National Day of Romania, which will have place on December 1 in Bucharest.

"Four Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft of the German Air Force arrived the other day at the 57th Air Base from Mihail Kogălniceanu. The German detachment, made up of approximately 140 military personnel (pilots and technical personnel) and Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft, will perform Enhanced Air Policing missions under NATO command alongside the Romanian Air Force.

The last such mission of the German Air Force in Romania took place at the beginning of 2022 together with the Italian Air Force, based on the Joint Declaration on the interoperability of Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft for the execution of air police missions. The main objective of joint training missions is to increase interoperability between NATO allies, and enhanced air policing missions contribute to the development of reaction and deterrence capacity.

The soldiers of the 22nd "Romanian" Infantry Battalion from the South-East Multinational Brigade, together with the multinational partners of the Polish Military Contingent and the French Battle Group, trained for a week for fighting in the urban environment at the National Joint Training Center " Getica". The professional rank and file soldiers in the initial training module of the 811th Infantry Battalion "Already" carried out firing sessions, where they checked their basic skills for using weapons in combat.

Over 1.500 soldiers and specialists from the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Romanian Intelligence Service, the Special Telecommunications Service and the National Penitentiary Administration, as well as approximately 130 technical means, including 40 aircraft, will participate in the National Military Parade organized on Friday, December 1, in Bucharest, from 11.00:XNUMX a.m., on the occasion of Romania's National Day, in Arcul de Triumf Square.

Along with the Romanian soldiers, approximately 150 foreign soldiers will march in the Military Parade, as part of detachments from Belgium, France, North Macedonia, the Republic of Moldova, Luxembourg, Poland, Portugal, the United States of America and the Netherlands, and soldiers from the allied countries contributing to the NATO structures on the territory of Romania. Foreign militaries are present with 23 technical means, including combat aircraft from Germany, the United States of America and Turkey."
