Will the final iOS 4.0 be identical to the GM version?

In general, the GM versions of the iPhone OS released before the final version were identical to the last one and most likely history will repeat itself this year with the release of iOS 4.0 today (probably in the next hour). A proof that supports this theory lies in image presented today with the iPhone 3GS 8GB that comes with iOS 4.0 preinstalled, so Apple didn't really have time to make essential changes in iOS 4.0 before installing it on the new iPhone 3GS model.

If it is identical or not we will find out for sure in the following days, however even if it will not be identical, the final version of iOS 4.0 cannot have major differences compared to the GM version because the developers made their applications based on the GM version of iOS 4.0, so any change could affect the good functionality of the applications and I'm sure Apple doesn't want this.

So, soon we will be able to download iOS 4.0!

  1. and I think it will be identical to the gm version, I think this thanks to your article about the 3gb 8gs, so most likely the redsnow prepared by devteam will be released as soon as possible so we can expect jailbreak and especially unlock God help me. I look forward to new information

  2. and I'm with telu' connected waiting for iOS 4

    :))

is it true what is heard about the limitations that Apple would introduce in the new system?

how would the internet speed decrease and all kinds of gimmicks with the aim of making us buy the new iPhone 4?

  3. Yes, it is possible that it is a strategy of those from Apple to make the 3GS a little slower with 4.0 as the 3G is already old anyway and it will have a hard time with 4.0.

  4. but how many days does it take the dev team to introduce the exploit into a simple to use program? Or have they already made it and will release it immediately after the final IOS4?

  5. don't update to itunes 9.2, block the unlock. God, I'm reading the comments and I can't believe what morons they are. Brother, the iPhone is a phone that will beat some of you. Why don't you get a nice nokia and stop stressing both with unlock and jailbreak and other shit. Some of you really don't like it... comment but it seems like there are more and more stupid people. Thanks to this man for giving you information for free and think that it's not obliged to answer your questions, some of them downright idiotic

  6. @Chaosman:

you smart guy... and who do you think you are, why do you find it so revolting that some people ask, yes it's true, we have no idea what and how, that's why we were asking, let's not get answers like this from a piece of shit like you who think you are superior to others.

We are grateful to Zaone, yes you know what it is, he explains for those who know what to eat, 3.1.3 4g, 5.1.12 samd

I'm the one who got my iPhone yesterday, how come you want me to know this???

It's like asking a second-grade student to solve integrals and equations, and telling him, you're stupid, what the hell, look at the formula, take it and apply it, what's simpler than that???

That's how it is, Einstein, here too, we have no idea, and that's why we're asking, do you understand, superior, who are you!!!

iTunes 9.2 is available for download since last night and since last night I warned you NOT to update to iTunes 9.2 because it will block the jailbreak made with Spirit and you will have to restore the phone, uninstall iTunes 9.2 and reinstall iTunes 9.1 to be able to jailbreak Spirit.

The Dev Team has officially confirmed that iTunes 9.2 affects the jailbreak made with Spirit both for those who already have a jailbroken terminal with Spirit and for those who are thinking in the future to jailbreak with Spirit so refrain from installing iTunes 9.2 and wait until next week when the final iOS 4.0, iPhone 4 and the most likely decoding and jailbreak program for iOS 4.0 will be available.
