In saptamanile trecute au fost prezentate diverse componente ale presupusei tablete iPad 3 iar printre ele s-a regasit un ecran care ar fi produs de Sharp si ar fi utilizat acum in fabricarea noului produs Apple. Cei de la Macrumors au resuit sa obtina un asemenea ecran de la un vanzator de componente pentru iDevice-uri si au reusit sa il puna in fata unui microscop pentru a vedea cati pixeli afiseaza. Imaginea de mai sus demonstreaza ca noul ecran are intr-adevar un numar dublu de pixeli fata de cel din iPad 2 deci vorbim despre o rezolutie de 2048 x 1536 in iPad 3.
However, when comparing the iPad 3 display to one from an iPad 2 under a microscope, the difference in resolutions becomes readily apparent, with the iPad 3 display’s pixels appearing to be one-quarter the size of those on the iPad 2. Since we only had a raw iPad 3 display with no method to power it, taking high quality photos of the pixels was difficult. Still, even with the relatively poor lighting, you can easily make out the pixels on each display (made up of red, green and blue elements). We highlighted a cluster of 4 pixels (2×2) from the iPad 2 to compare it to the same area on the iPad 3. On the iPad 3, the same cluster was occupied by 16 pixels (4×4) — exactly twice the resolution in each direction.
V-am confirmat si eu aici ca iPad HD/iPad 3 va avea un ecran cu o asemenea rezolutie, acum cei de la Macrumors fac acelasi lucru deci este in proportie de 90% sigur ca iPad 3 va veni cu un ecran Retina. Luand in considerare noile informatii eu unul astept doar data de 7 martie pentr a vedea noua tablete prezentata pe scena conferintei Apple din Yerba Buena Center, San Francisco.
