Saptamana trecuta v-am spus ca tableta iPad 3 ar avea probleme cu retelele Wi-Fi si un website american s-a hotarat sa faca un test pentru a vedea cat de bine/rau se descurca dispozitivul in comparatie cu altele ale Apple. Pentru teste au fost folosite: iPhone 3GS/4S si iPad 1/3 deci dispozitive noi si vechi iar rezultatele sunt interesante. Practic daca distanta dintre iPad 3 si hotspot creste atunci performantele devin din ce in ce mai slabe, chiar mai slabe decat cele ale terminalului iPhone 3GS care este disponibil pe piata de mai bine de 3 ani de zile.

Router-ul Cisco WRT310N 802.11a/b/g/n a fost utilizat pentru aceste teste si ele confirma faptul ca tableta celor de la Apple nu are performante chiar atat de grozave pentru acel utilizator. In experienta mea de utilizare a tabletei iPad 3 pot spune ca ea are performante cel putin la fel de bune ca ale terminalului iPhone 4S iar in unele cazuri reuseste sa detecteze retele Wi-Fi pe care iPhone-ul sau tableta iPad 2 nu el detecteaza.
