Youtube will support videos in 1080p format

youtube_logo Google announced that starting next week the HD mode of the popular site Youtube it will allow you to add and watch videos in 1080p format depending on the resolution of the movie that was uploaded. At the moment, the maximum resolution accepted by YouTube is 720p and it seems that it is not enough for those who run the largest video sharing site in the world.

Google justified its decision by saying that due to the increase in sales of monitors and cameras that support playback and recording in HD format, it considered this transition necessary to allow users to view recordings in the best possible conditions. But what does this mean for us? Obviously, a more faithful playback due to the high resolution, but also a longer loading time of the movies, and that might suck, especially if you use certain ISPs.
