It's been a while since Nexus One was launched on the market and the time has come to see the 2 terminals in the head-2-head video. I did a comparative review between the 2 terminals last week, you can read it here, today I will only talk about the 2 videos that I will post below.
Both have their strengths and weaknesses, both are produced by very strong companies with very well developed marketing teams, but which one is better? Who do you think?... the answer after the video:
... and the winner is Nexus One. I hope you had the patience to watch the videos, if not, I hope that the terminal designated by me as the winner will give you the patience to watch them.
Why I designated Nexus One as a winner? Simple! Because from the point of view of hardware and functionality it is better than iPhone(with very little). It is faster, not by much, but it is and you can feel it, websites load faster, videos load faster, applications the same, in the menu the same. It's clear that Nexus One has better hardware than iPhone. But here we are talking about stock products, without jailbreak and other wonderful things, because if we enter the world of jailbreaking, the sheet changes, but only on the functionality side, because from the hardware point of view it will still be inferior.
It can be seen that that 1Ghz processor does its job, but the over 100.000 applications, jailbreaking, the extremely large community and access to the wonderful world of "free" applications/add-ons/patches make iPhone favorite of the day. This battle was lost, but very close, close enough to say that looking in perspective everything iPhone it remains the phone that is worth the money. What do you say?
