Assassin's Creed 2: Discovery available in the AppStore

Today Ubisoft has finally released in the AppStore Assassins Creed 2: Discovery, a very interesting game that continues the series but this time the main character you will control will not be Altair as in the previous series but another assassin, Enzio and unlike the version on consoles where his story was followed throughout Italy and Spain, in the version for iPhone/iPod Touch Ubisoft presents us only the missions from Spain.

From the point of view of the graphics, I'm a little disappointed, I expected more from Ubisoft considering that it's a game from the Assassin's Creed series, although the developers announced that on the iPhone 3GS the graphics would have some elements that on the other terminals are removed due to graphics processors are much weaker and the performance on these devices suffers anyway, to be honest on the 3GS I didn't see anything special that would indicate that the iPhone 3G should be a bit harder to move.

Assassins Creed 2: Discovery comes with a new suite of missions, this time Enzio will have to do stealth missions in which to kill certain people without being discovered, or acrobatic missions in which you are followed along the map by human troops on who you just killed, pursuits that will take you over buildings, through the middle of cities and will require a true mastery to escape.

The control is done using a slider located on the left side of the screen, a slider that from my point of view is very easy to use, practically eliminating the "ordinary" joystick will give you the possibility to control the character's movements with much greater accuracy. On the right side of the screen we have the 3 action buttons that give you the opportunity to attack people and control weapons during the fight, enter stealth mode, jump from one building to another, and much more that you will discover on as you advance in the game.

In general, the game is quite addictive, but don't expect too much, I for one am a bit disappointed with it, maybe others will still like it.

Assassin's Creed 2: Discovery costs €7.99 and can be downloaded from the Ro AppStore here.
