FastPhotoLibrary – access the photo/video library directly from the LockScreen

FastPhotoLibrary is an iPhone application with which you can access the photo/video library directly from the phone's LockScreen, by simply pressing the status bar of your iPhone.

FastPhotoLibrary works through a mobilesubstrate add-on called Activator, and it allows access to the phone's photo/video library by simply pressing the phone's status bar, similar to how Snappy opens. As a side-note Snappy now supports 2 types of options, one for auto-opening the camera and another for auto-opening the video camera.

Once you have accessed the library, you can walk around and use its options just as you would use it with an unlocked phone, you can view the pictures/films, you can send them by e-mail/MMS, you can delete them, etc. Be careful, however, that crowding the phone with many mobilesubstrate add-ons leads to a decrease in battery autonomy and a decrease in phone performance.

The application can be bought from Cydia from the BigBoss repo for $1.49.
