An Italian site a publicat an article announcing that operator 3 Italy will sell the iPhone 4 starting on July 24, with prices reaching up to €650 for the 4GB iPhone 16. According to the same website, operator 3 Italia cannot sell iPhone 4 from July 15, when it would reach Vodafone Italy because it does not have enough micro-SIM cards available, so it will delay the launch by almost 10 days to purchase enough cards.
According to the same website, the iPhone 4 16GB will cost €650 and only the black model will be available, while the white model will only be available from September. I categorize this news as a rumor, but I think the price is right, I predicted the same price for the iPhone 4 in Italy, €20 more than the one in France, the difference being attributed to the higher taxes in Italy.
Until further notice, we are waiting for the official opening of pre-orders, information from Vodafone Italy employees suggested that Apple will open pre-orders for iPhone 4 on July 10, but I doubt this because no official announcement has been made in this regard yet.
