Motorola takes on Apple in the "antenna war"

Apple "confused" some of the smartphone manufacturers with their statements and video demonstrations by which they try to convince us that not only the iPhone 4 has signal problems, but also the other smartphones on the market. Motorola is one of the companies that did not miss the opportunity to ridicule the situation in which Apple is, and the advertisement above is a proof of these actions. Motorola promotes the Motorola Droid X, for which Apple made a demonstration regarding signal loss, as a smartphone that does not need a case to function properly.

The ad is subtle, but for connoisseurs it is an attack directed against those from Apple and the whole issue regarding the design of the iPhone 4 terminal.

At Motorola, we believe a customer shouldn't have to dress up their phone for it to work properly. That's why the DROID X comes with a dual antenna design. The kind that allows you to hold the phone any way you like to make crystal clear calls without a bulky phone jacket. For us it's just one of those things that comes as a given when you've been making mobile phones for over 30 years.
