At the conference on September 1, Apple presented a new social network dedicated to iTunes called Ping. It is focused exclusively on music and Apple has managed to convince several international stars to join the network, so you can follow their every move on Apple's social network. 2 days after the release, the company announced that it has 1 million registered users and 3 million downloads for iTunes 10. I'm sure that these numbers will increase in the immediate period, especially since iOS 4.1 is ready for release even without iTunes 10 the update cannot be done.
For us Romanians, Ping is absolutely irrelevant considering that Romania does not have an iTunes Store, and Ping only works in countries where there is an Apple music store. I registered in Ping with the name zaone ro, if you are interested I am waiting for you too.
