iOS 4.1 was released almost 2 days ago and relying on RATING given yesterday's survey, I would like to ask you what your experience with iOS 4.1 has been so far. Apple promised to solve the problems with the proximity sensor of the iPhone 4, it promised to solve the performance problems of the iPhone 3G and of course it introduced some other new functions that are useless to the owners of the iPhone 3G/3GS. Some complained that the problems with the proximity sensor were not solved, that the iPhone 3G works just as hard, that the problems with signal loss were not solved (although they had no way to solve them) and of course that some applications are not compatible with the new iOS.
I installed iOS 4.1 on the iPhone 3GS and unfortunately I didn't notice much, only a slight improvement in the overall performance of the phone. There were no new and imported functions, the only thing that stands out is the Game Center application implemented in the new iOS. I haven't managed to jailbreak, but if you have an iPhone 3GS with an old bootrom, you can try to jailbreak using the tutorial this.
