Video: HP Slate review

The video clip above is a brief presentation of the new HP Slate that was announced in the spring of this year, then the project would have been closed by HP and now there is evidence again that the tablet exists and it seems that it will be launched in October this year . HP Slate is an Internet tablet that would compete directly with the iPad tablet, with the Samsung Galaxy Tab and what other tablets would appear this fall. The HP Slate runs a "mobile" version of Windows 7 (which for me, for example, is a plus compared to the rest of the tablets) but it can be seen that everything is in the testing stage and some functions do not work as they should.

The touch does not work well and this is especially visible when the person who made the video clip tries to click on something. The resolution is high, and closing a window could prove to be a real challenge if you don't have a stylus handy. Browsing the Internet is quite cumbersome and navigating through pages is almost impossible considering that Windows 7 does not benefit from the same technologies as iOS for example. My opinion is that the HP Slate could be a competitor to consider if those from HP manage to "tune" Windows 7 to make it "tablet ready".
