The VISA company initiated a project together with the New Jersey authorities that will allow iPhone owners to pay for any subway trip between certain routes using their own Apple terminal. The compatible iPhone terminals have a special mounted transmitter (probably with the help of a special case) and transmit the necessary payment information to a toll machine using an application made by VISA. Practically everything goes like a video clip above, you arrive at a subway entrance, start the application and pass your phone in front of the reader and make the payment automatically. Simple, easy, hassle-free and easy to find in your pocket.
This is just one of the projects for smartphones that VISA will initiate in the next period. Others are expected that will allow the payment of goods directly with the phone and probably in a few years it will become a standard in the USA and credit cards will be surpassed.
