New details on Sony PlayStation Phone codename Zeus

About the Sony PlayStation Phone I have more spoken a few days ago, but in the meantime Engadget got some new information about the terminal to be launched by Sony Ericcson in the near future. First of all, it seems that the new terminal could be called Zeus, or at least that's what the project was called inside the Sony Ericsson company; secondly, the terminal shown in the images runs Android OS 2.2 and not 2.3 or 3.0; and thirdly, the terminal is quite thick, about as thick as the PSPGo device. As for the design, I was not attracted by this model and probably many people will be disappointed by it, but those from Sony Ericsson probably have a certain strategy prepared and will promote it for a certain segment of the market.

The new terminal could have at least 512MB/1GB of internal space and a slot for microSD cards up to 8GB, but probably those from Sony Ericsson will have terminals with slightly more internal space at launch and will give the possibility to use cards with a memory of up to 32GB. In other words, this terminal will only be successful in its current form if there are games for it, and as things "move" in the Android community it is hard to believe that there will be developers who will make games specifically for this terminal.
