For those of you who still don't know, saurik is the man who developed and currently maintains all the infrastructure around the Cydia application. Within one conference held a few days ago in the USA, saurik made a rather interesting analogy comparing people who jailbreak with people who "tune" their cars with the idea of customizing their product. The comparison is not new, in fact Steve Jobs made one ALIKE in a conference, but ultimately it is very eloquent for highlighting the reasons why people resort to jailbreak. Practically most of us want to be able to do anything with a product bought from a company and the American authorities seem to agree with us since jailbreaking has been declared LEGAL in the USA a few months ago.
