The Find My iPhone service limits the number of accounts registered on a terminal

As you already know very well, Apple offers the Find My iPhone service from MobileMe free of charge to all iPhone 4/iPod Touch 4G and iPad terminals, but not on older terminals. In order to allow owners of older terminals to benefit from this option, Apple offers users possibility to activate the MobileMe service on an iPhone 4/iPod Touch 4G or an iPad tablet, and the activated account can then be used on an iPhone 3G/3GS or iPod Touch 2G/3G. This option still has a limitation, that is, more than 3 such accounts cannot be activated from one terminal, so be careful who and how you activate because you might wake up with the following errors displayed on the screen:

Cannot Sign In

The maximum number of free accounts have been activated on this iPhone.

Account Limit Reached

This device is no longer eligible for creating a free MobileMe account.

Unfortunately, there is no method to delete the accounts already registered on a certain terminal, so once you have reached the maximum limit of 3, you will be prevented from registering other accounts in the future.
