MuscleNerd just said on his Twitter account that he managed to modify ultrasn0w to work properly on iOS 4.2.1! It seems that Apple worked quite a lot on modifying the operating system to prevent ultrasn0w from running, but the Dev Team seems to have overcome this obstacle and ultrasn0w runs without problems on iOS 4.2.1! Considering this news, it is quite possible that ultrasn0w will be released today, sometime in the evening, or tomorrow at the latest.
The new decoding/unlock solution will initially work only on iPhone 3G/3GS and will decode the last 2 basebands from iOS 4.1/4.2.1, i.e. 05.14.02 and 05.15.04. The decoding solution for iPhone 4 will most likely be available next month.
