comex is still working on an untethered jailbreak solution for iOS 4.2.1

Although from affirmations from yesterday's MuscleNerd it turned out that no one is dealing with the development of an exploit for untethered jailbreak (for all devices) on iOS 4.2.1, here is how today Dev Team reaffirms the fact that comex is still working on something like this. comex has been working on this untethered jailbreak solution for more than a month and a half, but for now all we received were promises upon promises and things will probably go like this until iOS 4.3. The Dev Team and comex deserve all our consideration for the work done and deserve further support for all the jailbreak programs released so far, but I recommend you not to put high hopes in an untethered jailbreak solution from them for iOS 4.2.1( for all terminals).

This should help ease the pain of the tethered jailbreak until @comex comes up with a 4.2.1 untether (or for those of you with legit access to the 4.2b3 IPSW, until the "Jailbreak Monte" untether is out of beta)!

Until then redsn0w 0.9.7 will be the only way to untethered jailbreak on iOS 4.2.1, but it will only work for those who have SHSH for iOS 4.2 beta 3 in Cydia and for those who have legal access to a firmware for iOS 4.2 beta 3.
