Joos Orange is a solar charger presented at MacWorld 2011 which, according to the manufacturers, is the best charger on the market for devices. You already know that solar chargers need a long time to convert solar energy into electricity, right? Well, Joos Orange is completely different from what exists on the market at the moment because this device offers 2 times more charging power than other chargers of the same type. It is about as big as an iPad tablet and for every hour it is left to charge in sunlight, it offers 2 hours of autonomy for making 3G calls from your device.

Joos Orange has a 5400Mah rechargeable battery with which you can charge an iPad tablet, an iPhone 4, an iPod Touch 4G and probably another iPhone 3GS without the slightest problem. The producers claim that Joos Orange is able to charge your devices almost 4 times faster than any other similar charger. To be honest, I don't know any solar charger on the market that offers 2 hours of autonomy for 3G calls for every hour of solar charging, but for now we only rely on the manufacturer's specifications. It is interesting that Joos Orange is very very resistant because during the tests done before the launch of the product, it was shot (with a 22mm caliber rifle) and it "survived", in fact it charged an iPad tablet.

Joos Orange comes with an application called MyJoos that allows users to check how the device works. The device is very interesting, but it also has a reasonable price, $140 to be exact and can be purchased from here.
