I already told you that Apple reduced the price of the iPad tablet before the launch of the iPad 2 in the company's stores. Prices have dropped by an average of 100$/€ for all models and Apple is now making a gesture that will surely attract the sympathy of all those to whom it is addressed and not only. Apple decided to return the difference between the current price and the old price for customers who purchased an iPad tablet in the last 2 weeks. Few companies would have the courage to make such an announcement and offer millions/tens of millions of dollars of their own earnings to customers who purchased a product before the launch of another in the same category.
For now we know that this offer is only available in the US, but it will probably apply in all countries where there is an Apple Store and Apple sells iPad tablets. It is very interesting how Apple acts and this measure is intended to increase the trust of existing/future customers in the company and, I think, to increase the degree of their "filiation".
