iPad 2 with repositioned SIM slot sold decoded in most countries

The new iPad 2 tablet is much thinner than the old model and Apple had to resort to some tricks to manage to reduce the thickness of the tablet by almost 33%. In this idea, the SIM slot of the tablet has been repositioned from the side of the tablet to the upper left, so that when you receive the tablet you will know where exactly the card must be inserted. Leaving aside the discussion with the SIM slot, the iPad 2 will be sold decoded, but not in all countries where it will be available. We already know that the CDMA version is encoded on Verizon and that the GSM version sold in the US and Canada will be decoded from the factory, but we don't know where exactly it will be encoded.

It is hard to say if Apple will decide to sell the tablet through a mobile phone operator in any country and will code the tablet to that operator, but there are rumors that indicate this. Apple earns a lot of money from subscriptions concluded for iPhone terminals, so it could decide to offer operators certain coded versions of the iPad 2.
