iPad in the top of consumer preferences

Recently in the USA, a study on approximately 3.100 people who were asked various questions related to the tablets available on the market at the moment. It does not seem surprising to me that 82% of those interviewed answered that if they had to buy a tablet in the next 3 months, the iPad would be the tablet of choice, many of them preferring the iPad even before Apple presented the iPad 2. 27% of those interviewed answered that they are already planning to buy a tablet in the near future and as I told you before, the iPad remains in the top of preferences, although Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, Motorola Xoom or BlackBerry Playbook will be available on the market.

"Future tablet demand remains extraordinarily high among consumers - with better than one-in-four respondents (27%) saying they plan on buying a tablet device in the future," Carton reports. "That's 2-pts higher than in a previous ChangeWave survey in November. Focusing on just the next 90 days, 5% of respondents say they'll be purchasing a tablet within this time frame," Carton reports. "Once again Apple remains the overwhelming winner among planned buyers, with 82% of future tablet buyers saying they'll be purchasing an iPad."

Regarding the level of satisfaction vis-à-vis the iPad, more than 70% of those who participated in the interview claim that they are satisfied with the iPad tablet, 25% are "somewhat" satisfied, 2% are somewhat dissatisfied and another 2% remain undecided . From now on we are talking about the iPad in the past considering that tomorrow it will be removed from the stores and the iPad 2 will take its place and the "hysteria" around the Apple stores will reach new heights. The iPad 2 will be much "bigger" than the iPad and probably Apple will earn much more money from it.
